East German Strichtarn


Each order includes a limited edition W.O.E. Challenge Coin.  As of November 2022, we have upgraded leather to SB Foote, Mocha Burnside with a softer interior.

 

Strichtarn was a military camouflage pattern developed in East Germany and used from 1965 to 1990. The pattern was also used by several other militaries and non-state forces, notably in Africa.  Each pouch displays a different section of the camouflage uniform used in its construction, a fact giving each pouch a unique design.

There are a few accessories that every watch owner needs, and a good case is one of them. Whether for travel or home storage, this case has you covered. 

Origin:  During a 2022 trip to Africa, I brought my Tudor Black Bay 58 and a CWC SBS. While the watch pair worked well, I realized I needed a better watch case, as the watch roll I brought was bulky, poorly constructed and lacking character.

Requirements: The case is made in the USA.  It is durable, yet classy and slim enough to fit in a front jean pocket for travel through high crime areas. It features subtle nods to our community, honoring those who have gone before us and upholding our ethos that one should “use your tools.”

A version of the spearhead insignia has been worn by elite units, including the original Office of Strategic Services, Special Operations and the Central Intelligence Agency.  “W.O.E.” is very much a “If You Know, You Know” thing.

Shipping Details

All orders are shipped within 2-5 business days of placing the order. The typical delivery time frame is between 7-10 business days. That said, our goal is to get the order out to the customer as soon as possible and will try to get it in the mail within 48 hours. The customer is responsible for the cost of shipping, unless noted otherwise in the product description.

Items are shipped via USPS, FedEx or UPS, as indicated during check out. WOE Trading Post LLC has no control over shipments once they are accepted by the carrier. After your order is shipped, you’ll receive a confirmation email that will include a tracking number for your convenience. Please ensure your shipping address is correct at checkout. Once an order has shipped the ship to address cannot be changed. 

Please understand that we cannot be responsible for lost or missing packages that have been successfully delivered to the address provided with your order. Shipping times are not guaranteed by WOE Trading Post LLC.

Returns & Exchanges

Returns and exchanges are accepted for a full refund of the cost of the product within 14 days of receipt of the product.  For a full refund, all returns must be shipped back in new condition and including any extra items shipped with the order.  The customer is responsible for the cost of shipping the item back to the store and is responsible for the original shipping cost.

Custom, made-to-order and Print on Demand items are non-returnable and non-refundable. 

If an order is returned to us, shipping costs will need to be re-paid before it can be reshipped. New products or replacements for orders returned to sender, will not be shipped until the original, undeliverable order has been returned and received by us.

If you receive the wrong item(s), or if you receive an imperfect item please contact us within 7 days of delivery to submit a claim. For all claims, please provide photos of the products, packaging, and your order number. If you received the wrong item please provide a photo of the item you did receive, including an image of the product. If the order arrived with an imperfect item, please include photos of the imperfection. We will then issue a replacement order, and if applicable, we will provide a prepaid shipping label to return the incorrect items.
