@ Drew.
We are not talking about the same situation and this is not the topic of this new video! It is about being the target, not personally, but in relation to your material object of value…

When it is not an offence related to heritage, but to sexual and/or physical integrity, there is a need for another reflection and reaction, while remaining proportional. In these cases, the tendency is that the individual is targeted personally, and less often arbitrarily. Self-defence is required and if there is a significant risk such as life, determination to stop the threat is necessary.

Fortunatly, police officers are also not allowed to use their weapons against a person who has stolen a chewing gum. On the other hand, if it is a question of neutralizing someone who has just committed the irreparable, the possibility of reaction is quite different.

Yes, @Drew, common sense is the way to go, and it’s better not to feel like a superhero in a situation that could end up with an insurance claim used to insure your valuable item!

To, at best, end up in a news article that everyone will forget tomorrow, as a sign of great courage for having stopped his attacker… Better not risk being the subject of an article in the mortuary page…

If it is to save your wife or your child, it will be even your gut that will act before your neurons ;)

To Superhero with common sense……
They might also want your wife,
….or your daughter.
What’s you’re non-violent crises intervention mantra say to that?

I watched it on YouTube and read someone saying that Rolex and Glock make a perfect combination.
I would say that Rolex, the Glock G19, and the Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon (Geländewagen) are the Germanic Holy Trinity.

Considering the authors’ determination, it would have been appropriate to specify and repeat in the video that it is better not to seek resistance in case of violent aggression!

Particulary for individuals with certain skills and/or occupation. Some people might think of themselves as real James Bond, not in connection with the same profession they embrace, but thinking for a moment to be immortal…

These individuals seeking value, from organized crime, usually have little to lose and are willing to do much.

Why risk to get stabbed, to cite this example, and/or be disabled later just for having wanted to preserve his good…

The most valuable asset is health… and insurance is used to cover what is material, in case of theft.

Use your tools… but use your common sense FIRST!
